I'm walking out of the test centre grinning ear-to-ear., not because i have done AIMCAT709 very well, because it was a complete disaster. 6 set of questions in Data Interpretation section with 'progressive negative marking'(God knows what they meant by that statement in the question paper). All the 6 sets were really tough. Quantitative aptitude was kinda ok. English was good, as usual. The difference this time was that I had done badly in a test that was tough. In the last mock test, I realised after coming home that I had done badly in a test in which I could have done much better. I felt better that the test itself was a tough one to crack..
This is, atleast a much better excuse to not do a test well....
After getting back home, I analysed the paper and felt good because the paper was really very tough. The toughest AIMCAT so far. On top of that, there was some shit about progressive negative marking and I still dont know what that isall about.
September 11th, Monday 10.30 AM.
I open the T.I.M.E website to check the analysis of yesterday's AIMCAT.
Surprise! Surprise! I have cleared the cut-offs for Quans and Data Interpretation... The cut-offs were just 6 and 8 respectively an I have scored 7 and 9.. :)
HURRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :D
Nevertheless, a llllloooooooooonnnnnggg way to go....
